Radio Times Story

My personal response to the book "The Radio Times Story" by Tony Currie. My task was to find the unknown book with the code 791.4505, in Bristol Central library, and generate a response to the book. The Piece documents, and compares physical qualities of the book, against physical qualities of a brand new 2010 copy of the radio times.

The piece was exciting to film, because it features extreme close up macro shots, which were very experimental.

5 Hours

A new motion design piece. This piece is my personal response to Five hours of time spent at redfliffe hill, Bristol, UK BS1 6SQ.

New Photographic book. All photographs taken using a 1973 Practica TL5B 35mm Camera. This book is a showcase for my newly completed sans serif typeface called "New Mode".

This modern font has spent a long time in the making, and I am constantly designing alternative glyphs, and quirky ligatures. Its wide range of glyphs gives this Font very adaptable and diverse qualities for use when working with photographs. Enjoy!

A new booklet design, containing a famous speach by Margaret Thatcher, taken when she was prime minister. - The Lady's Not For Turning

My own typographic play with the words wind, water, fire, earth, whilst working with my newly designed typeface. This piece was inspired by the element skateboards logo.
